LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A Bristol Borough man has been charged with the strangulation death of a woman during a domestic incident at his home on Thursday morning.
Michael P. Myers, 59, of Bristol Borough, was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, strangulation, false imprisonment, intimidation of a victim/witness, and possession of an instrument of crime with intent.
He was preliminarily arraigned by on-call District Judge Brian M. Marriott early on Friday morning, according to court records.
The Bucks County Coroner's Office removed the body of a woman from the Wood Street home after Bristol Borough Police responded to what authorities called a "serious domestic incident" around 8 a.m. on Thursday.
The Bucks County District Attorney's Office and the Bristol Borough Police Department have not yet released details about the murder.

Myers was denied bail due to the homicide charge. Another hearing is scheduled for Aug. 26.
