Levittown-Area Secures $5 Million In Funding Through State Program (levittownnow.com) — Levittown residents will see direct benefits from $5 million in new state Local Share Account grants, including funding to replace an aging Levittown Fire Company No. 2 apparatus and upgrades at Forsythia Crossing Park. Additional awards will tackle chronic flooding in Bristol Borough, support emergency squads, expand job training, and add hospital beds at St. Mary Medical Center, all without raising local taxes.
3. Cops: Honked Horn Triggers Road-Rage Attack In Church Parking Lot (levittownnow.com) — A road-rage confrontation that began near the Walmart in Levittown Town Center allegedly escalated into a violent assault in the St. Michael the Archangel church parking lot on Levittown Parkway. Tullytown and Middletown police say a Middletown Township man followed another driver, crashed, then repeatedly punched him, leading to felony assault charges and separate fleeing charges in a later incident.
4. Middletown updates sign rules with potential $500 fines (phillyburbs.com) — Middletown Township is moving to strictly regulate all temporary public signs, including political and "for sale" signs, with potential fines of $500 per day for violations. The rules would also reinforce PennDOT's long-standing ban on signs in rights-of-way like Bristol-Oxford Valley Road in Levittown, where complaints could trigger removal and penalties. Property owners will still get some discretion, but size and timing limits will tighten.
5. The expectant parents, who visited Fetal Vision Imaging in Levittown at 24 weeks, were stunned by the rare face‑to‑face image, which the technician said he'd never seen in thousands of exams.
