Today's riddle: What do you call a belt that is made of watches? 🤔 (Answer below!)
1. Undefeated and unbothered, Lex Ludlow relishes role as 'The Most Hated Man in Bare Knuckle' (bkfc.com) — Levittown's own unbeaten bare-knuckle fighter Lex Ludlow is gearing up for a high-profile bout at BKFC Fight Night in Bethlehem on Oct. 9, which also falls on his 33rd birthday. He's loudly embracing his "Most Hated" persona, promising to carry the card and extend his perfect record in front of a global streaming audience.
2. Police Log Sept. 30: Statutory rape, thefts (chaddsfordlive.com) — State police reports include a case where a 68-year-old Levittown woman reported more than $3,200 in cash stolen from her purse during a July visit to Concord Township. The broader log details other thefts, frauds, and a statutory rape investigation, offering Levittown residents a snapshot of regional crime patterns that could affect their own safety and travel habits.
3. Police Arrest Levittown Man After Alleged Assault In Newtown (levittownnow.com) — A Middletown Township resident from the Levittown section was arrested after Newtown Township police say he assaulted a woman near La Stalla Restaurant and stole her purse earlier this month. Officers from Newtown and Middletown used license plate reader data and phone pings to track him down, and he now faces robbery, assault, and related charges while remaining presumed innocent in court.
4. Fitzpatrick Ads Cite Patch Posts by Ally, Politico Finds (bensalemweekly.com) — A Levittown man, Dave Sommers, is at the center of a Politico investigation showing that several Brian Fitzpatrick attack ads rely on self-published Patch posts that look like independent news. For Levittown-area voters in PA-1, the story raises questions about how campaign ads use seemingly neutral headlines and urges residents to check who's really behind the "news" they see.
5. Falls OKs new apartments to replace old Lincoln Highway auto center (phillyburbs.com) — A new 84-unit senior apartment building is moving forward along Lincoln Highway in Falls Township, replacing an abandoned auto facility. For Levittown residents, the story also notes Bristol Township's approval of nearly 100 age-qualified homes at the former Abraham Lincoln Elementary School site, adding to the area's growing supply of senior-focused housing options.
