Attempted Penndel Home Burglary Reported Monday: Police

PENNDEL, PA - An attempted overnight home burglary in Penndel was reported on Monday, authorities said.

At around 1:30 a.m. on the 500 block of Hulmeville Avenue, an unknown person attempted to enter the residence through a ground level window, Penndel police said. However, the person was unsuccessful at getting inside the home as the window was blocked by an air conditioner.

“Residents are urged to make sure that their windows and doors are locked and that any ground level windows with air conditioners are secured thoroughly,” police said. “Residents are further urged to remain vigilant for suspicious persons, vehicles, and circumstances in the area.”
