Backpack With $100K In Heroin Found At Bucks Co. School: Report

BUCKS COUNTY, PA — A mysterious backpack filled with $100,000 worth of heroin was found in the parking lot of a school in Bucks County this week, police told NBC10. The backpack, which held hundreds of multi-colored boxes filled with the illegal drug, was left at a Bensalem school, Police Director Fred Harran told the network.

The name of the school is being withheld by police.

Harran said the bag appeared out of the blue Wednesday, and he suspects it was on its way to Trenton.

The owner of the backpack has not been identified.

"Someone out there lost $100,000 worth of heroin," Harran said during the on-air interview.

The case is under investigation.
