Benefit To Support Family Of Late Levittown Firefighter In November
Scott Schaffer, of Levittown Fire Company No. 2, died in late September. A benefit will be held for his family on Nov. 19.
LEVITTOWN, PA —The Levittown Fire Company No. 2 is planning a benefit to help the family of the late Scott Schaffer in November.
The fire company said the benefit was originally planned to support Schaffer’s finances while undergoing treatment, but Schaffer passed away unexpectedly on Sep. 22.
They said the benefit —scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19 —will now go on to help his family with final expenses.

Schaffer served as president and assistant fire chief. He had served with the fire company since 2003.
Tickets will be on sale starting this weekend, the fire company said.

The event will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Colonial Hall, LFC#1 on Falls-Tullytown Road, the fire company posted on its Facebook page.
Admission is $60 per person and includes food, Beer & soda. A cash bar is available for mixed drinks and wine. There will be DJ, 50/50, Wheelbarrow of Cheer and many baskets to auction off.
