Bicyclist Identified in Fatal Bristol Township Crash: Coroner

Timothy Verbich, Jr., 42, of Fairless Hills, was killed on Sept. 28. His death was accidental, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —A bicyclist struck and killed during a crash with a car late last month on New Falls Road has been identified, the Bucks County coroner has revealed.

Timothy Verbich, Jr., 42, of Fairless Hills, was hit at the intersection of Bristol-Oxford Valley Road and New Falls Road in Bristol Township's Levittown section, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said.

Buck determined Verbich's cause of death as blunt impacts of the head and torso. She ruled that the manner of death was accidental.

The accident is still under investigation by Bristol Township police.

Levittown Now reported that Verbich, a Pennsbury High School graduate, was struck by 2016 Ford Mustang at 8:23 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28. The driver of the Mustang – a 46-year-old Morrisville woman – has cooperated with police.
