Bicyclist Killed In Falls Township Crash
The bicyclist was struck by a vehicle while riding on New Falls Road Monday night, police said.
FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —A 60-year-old Levittown man was killed Monday after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bike on New Falls Road, police said.
The Falls Township Police Department said that around 7 p.m. Monday they investigated a motor vehicle accident in the 9000 block of New Falls Road, Levittown.
The preliminary investigation determined that a silver-colored 2020 Nissan Rogue driven by a 21-year-old Morrisville resident collided with a bicyclist.

Police said the bicyclist was wearing dark-colored clothing and no helmet.
The bicyclist sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The striking vehicle remained on the scene and the driver is cooperating fully with the investigation.
Alcohol, drugs, or a medical emergency are not believed to be factors in the cause of the crash at this time, police said.
Police said the man's name was "Jose" and he was 60 years old and lived in the Levittown area.
