Bicyclist Killed In Rt. 13 Hit-And-Run: Police

A a silver Mercedes Benz hit and killed a bicyclist on Rt. 13 Tuesday night, and police are trying to find the driver.

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — Police have identified the man who was killed in a hit-and-run in Bristol Borough Tuesday night. Kevin Williams Sr, 52, of Bristol Borough was killed while biking across Rt. 13 at Corson Street. The striking vehicle drove away northbound on Rt. 13, police said.

Authorities, in an update issued Wednesday afternoon, say witnesses told investigators that two vehicles were racing northbound on Route 13 from the traffic light at Bath Road just before the crash.

Police say the car that hit the man was described as a silver Mercedes Benz AMG. The vehicle should have significant damage to the front of the vehicle. A silver front decorative license plate with an eagle emblem was found at the scene and police believe it came from the striking vehicle, police said.

Bucks County EMS and the Bristol Borough Fire Department and Fire Police assisted at the scene. The Bristol Township Police also responded and are assisting with the investigation.
