Body Of Missing Man Recovered In Bristol Township: Coroner
The Bucks County Coroner said the body of the man who went missing in the Delaware River last week was recovered Monday morning.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The body of the man who went missing in the Delaware River last week has been recovered, authorities said.
Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said that the body of an adult man thought to be the person missing was recovered Monday morning from the shore of the Delaware River at 6206 Radcliffe St.

Last Tuesday night, the Bristol Township Police Department responded to the 6600 Block of Radcliffe Street for a report of a man attempting to steal a Pontoon boat, which was anchored in the river.
When confronted by the owner and neighbors, the man jumped into the water, police said. The property owner and area residents attempted to rescue the man, who did not use the floatation device provided.

The man was underwater and did not resurface. Bristol Township Police classified the incident as a drowning.
New Jersey State Police and the U.S. Coast Guard utilized boats and an aviation unit in attempts to locate the man.
Buck said the man was wearing a gray, green, and tan camouflage zip-up hoody with gray sweatpants, and black sneakers. His identity and race are currently unknown.
His identity and the cause and manner of his death continue to be under investigation, the coroner said.
