Bristol Borough Police K-9, Kilo, has retired after 10 years of service. He was the oldest working police K-9 in Bucks County.

Bristol Borough Police K-9, Kilo, has retired after 10 years of service.
Kilo, who on Monday was recognized by the mayor and Borough Council, was the oldest working police K-9 in Bucks County, according to information from Bristol Borough Police. His handler was Officer Chuck Palmer.
According to information from Bristol Borough Police, Kilo was cross trained in narcotics detection and had several significant drug seizures. The K-9 also had numerous criminal apprehensions along with successful tracking missions.

"Kilo fearlessly defended his handler and other officers on multiple occasions and was a true asset to the police department. Kilo also met many children during his career, acting as an ambassador for the police department. Kilo will be enjoying his retirement being spoiled by Officer Palmer's daughter Emily," Bristol Borough police said in a statement.
