Bristol Borough Police Revive Heart Attack Victim

Bristol Borough Police revived a woman who was suffering from cardiac arrest during the snowfall last Friday. According to police, Bristol Borough officers and EMS were called to the 400 block of Market Street on Dec. 15 after a 51-year-old female collapsed.

Sergeant Pete Faight and Officer Mike Levitsky got there first. They found the victim in cardiac arrest. Faightand Levitsky began CPR and defibrillated the victim with the police AED.

When the Bucks County EMS and Bristol Borough Fire Department arrived, additional care was administered.

The victim regained a pulse and began breathing on her own. She was then transported to Lower Bucks Hospital.
