Bristol Man Arrested For Knifepoint Robbery

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — A Bristol man is under arrest after police say he used a knife to rob another man.

At about 8:59 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to a report of a robbery in the Harriman section of Bristol Borough. They say a man later identified as Daniel Trappasse, 30, of Bristol, brandished "a dagger-like blade" and demanded money from a 49-year-old man.

The victim, according to police, defended himself by grabbing a wooden 2x4 and hitting Trappasse with it. Trappasse ran away, but was caught on Bath Street, police say.

Trappasse was taken to Bucks County Prison, where he was held on an outstanding warrant.
