Bristol Man Charged With Child Rape

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — A man from Bristol has been charged with child rape after police say he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old when he was a teenager.

Kevin Ortiz, 24, is charged with rape of a child, sexual assault, indecent assault without consent and indecent assault, according to court documents. He was arrested on the charges earlier this month, Falls Township Police announced.

According to police, detectives investigated charges that arose when his alleged victim, now 18 years old, came forward to police. They say Ortiz was 15 and his victim was 11 when the assaults happened.

In a news release, Falls police said Ortiz was charged "after a thorough investigation."

According to court documents, Ortiz posted $100,000 bail on April 3.
