Bristol Man Killed Friend In Accidental Shooting: Police
The 24-year-old victim, from Philadelphia, had just arrived at the home when his friend was clearing his handgun to secure it, police say.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A Philadelphia man was shot and killed in Bristol on Wednesday in what police are calling an accidental shooting by a lifelong friend.
Police officers were called at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday to an address on Bristol Road. When they arrived, officers found Jacob Pfeifer-Johnson, 24, with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to police. Police say Pfeifer-Johnson had just arrived at the home, where his friend was clearing his 9-mm. handgun to secure it.
A round "was accidentally discharged in the direction of the victim," Bristol Police said.

Pfeifer-Johnson was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he died early Thursday morning, police said.
Police were not releasing the name of the shooter on Thursday. They say he and his family have "fully cooperated" with investigators.
