Bristol Police Activity Was Training Exercise

BRISTOL, PA — If you saw some intense police activity in Bristol Borough on Wednesday, there's no need to worry. It was just law enforcement officers practicing for the real thing.

The Bucks County South SWAT Team conducted a full-scale training scenario Wednesday using vacant structures on Elm Street. The training included real-time scenarios using hostage negotiators and role players portraying people involved in the situation.

The Bucks County South SWAT Team is made up of officers from Bensalem, Bristol Borough, Bristol Township and Falls Township.
