Bristol Township Bus Driver, Navy Vet Passes Away At 55
David W. Taggart was born and raised in Levittown. He died Saturday at the age of 55.

David W. Taggart passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Lower Bucks Hospital. He was 55.
Born and raised in Levittown, he resided there most of his life. David was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was employed as a bus driver for the Bristol Township School District.

He was a member of the American Pool Assn. (APA), The Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans and The American Legion Post No. 960. David had a great love for music and was a drummer in the band, Samstorm.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 19 years, Cheryl Taggart, his children; Samantha Taggart, Mandy DiIorio (Dominick), Matt Beecher and Lorie Ann Murphy, and his 6 grandchildren; Lexi, Jeremy, Nicky, Ashlee, Kaylin and Kelly. He is also survived by 1 sister, Denise Ranke (Wayne), along with many nieces, nephews and friends. David was predeceased by his parents; Walter and Elizabeth Taggart and his step-father, William Workman.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, March 3, 2017, 11:00am at the Wade Funeral Home, 1002 Radcliffe Street, Bristol Borough. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday evening 6-9:00pm and Friday morning 10-11:00am at the Funeral Home.
