Bristol Township Cancels After-School Activities For Storm
With expected heavy rainfall and high winds, the Bristol Township School District will cancel activities Tuesday afternoon.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bristol Township School District is canceling after-school activities due to the potential of heavy rainfall and high winds from a storm starting Tuesday.
Due to the forecasted rain and heavy winds and the potential for hazardous travel conditions, all Bristol Township School District after-school and evening athletics, activities, and community events for Tuesday, school officials said.
"Due to inclement weather, the Bristol Township School District is canceling all after-school activities today," school officials said.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly said that the region could receive up to 4 inches of rain with the heaviest rainfall expected between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 2 a.m. Wednesday.
After this past weekend's storm, the National Weather Service said that saturated ground will make rivers and creeks run higher with Tuesday's rainfall, thus causing flooding throughout the region.

Meanwhile, there is a wind advisory for inland areas with winds forecast up to 65 mph in some areas, the weather service said.
