Maple Shade Elementary School is planning a Research and Science Symposium.
Students in every classroom in the building -- from kindergarten through 6th grade -- will conduct an experiment to answer a question.

The experiments are aligned to grade appropriate science standards. For example, one kindergarten class will be demonstrating: What chicks need to hatch. On the other hand, a sixth grade class will try to determine the environmental affects of commercial versus home-made cleaners.
The event takes place Thursday 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
