Bristol Twp. Holiday Parade Kicks Off Saturday Morning

The 16th annual parade is shaping up to be a great one!

Get ready Bristol Township, the 16th Annual Holiday Parade is hitting the streets Saturday morning and will feature all your favorites.

The parade will begin at 11 .m. at Brookwood Elementary School, 2200 Haines Road, and end at Ben Franklin School, 6403 Mill Creek Road.

Not only will the parade feature emergency response crews and the Harry S. Truman marching band, the Philadelphia eagles pep band will also be marching in the parade.

But it wouldn't be a holiday parade without a little Christmas spirit. Elves from Santa Claus' workshop will be collecting letters for Santa as the move along the parade route, so make sure your list is ready for Santa to see, kids.

"Bristol Township has so much to be thankful for and so many reasons to celebrate during the holiday holiday parade and throughout the holiday season," Bristol Township Manager Bill McCauley said in a press release. "Money Magazine recently named the Levittown section of Bristol Township as the '41st Best Place to Live in America' ans was the only community in Pennsylvania to make the list."

McCauley said the parade is one of the best ways to show off all of the things that helped the townships make Money Magazine's list.
