Bristol Twp Teen Who Pulled Illegal Gun On Cops Sentenced
A Bucks County judge, who said the teen is lucky to be alive, sentenced him to six to 20 years in prison for the February incident.

A Bristol Township teenager who pulled an illegal firearm while fleeing from police following a high-speed chase last February will serve six to 20 years in prison. Zahkeldrick Hunt could have died as a result of his actions, Bucks County Common Pleas Court Judge Raymond F. McHugh said during Monday's sentencing.
Hunt, 19, was involved in a chase on Feb. 15. Authorities say he and another man fled from police in a stolen car, going more than 100 miles per hour at times. The car crashed in a field near Runway Road and Green Lane, and Hunt took off running with a semi-automatic handgun in his waistband, according to information from the Bucks County District Attorney's office.
Hunt then pulled the gun out as a Bristol Township police officer Jason Mancuso drove his patrol vehicle alongside him, ordering him to stop. The officer got out of his patrol car and drew his own weapon, at which time Hunt stumbled and fell. The gun went flying, and officers tackled him.
