Bucks Co. Man Sentenced In Fifth Assault Against Same Woman

A PA man was sentenced to up to five years in state prison on Tuesday in his fifth domestic abuse case against the same victim.

TULLYTOWN, PA - A Tullytown man was sentenced to up to five years in state prison on Tuesday morning in his fifth domestic abuse case against the same woman, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office said.

Bryan Trentini, 37, of Laurel Lane, previously entered an open guilty plea in April to terroristic threats, stalking, harassment, criminal mischief, loitering and prowling at night and theft in connection to a November 2021 incident. He had previously pleaded guilty for abusing the same victim in 2019, 2018, 2015 and 2013, officials said.

In a statement, the victim said she feared for her life because Trentini has never adhered to court orders. A Bucks County probation officer also testified that Trentini failed to follow protection orders.

“Because of the continued pattern of abuse, Assistant District Attorney Brittney Kern requested Trentini be sentenced in the aggravated range, which Common Pleas Judge Raymond F. McHugh did by sending him to state prison for 2 ½ to 5 years,” according to a statement from the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

Trentini was arrested following multiple calls to police from the victim between Nov. 12 and Nov. 22, 2021, reporting that Trentini had been loitering around her property, entering her home without permission and removing items from inside and outside her home.

She also said Trentini continuously harassed her and threatened to cause her serious injury or death.

Although an active no-contact order was in place since August 2021, the victim told police he violated the order several times.

A subsequent investigation found that Trentini pleaded guilty to simple assault in 2019, 2018 and 2015 and a guilty plea to harassment in 2013, all involving the same victim.

Trentini was sentenced to county jail in each of the last three pleas and had repeatedly violated no-contact orders against the victim, the investigation showed.
