Bucks Co. Woman Killed By Stalker Was 'Kind, Bubbly' 28-Year-Old, Sources Say
Yuan Yuan Lu, 28, was in an abusive relationship and "lived in constant fear for her life," her loved ones said.
BRISTOL TWP, PA — The woman who was shot and killed in Bristol Township by a man who allegedly stalked her has been identified as 28-year-old Yuan Yuan Lu.
A fundraiser has been launched for the family of the woman, who was found shot dead inside her car by her Outlook Lane home on Sunday. Authorities said a man, identified by her loved ones as her boyfriend, stalked her one day after she reported a sexual assault and attempted to end the relationship.
Yujun Ren, 32, of Philadelphia, has been charged with homicide and stalking in connection with her death.

"She only recently found the courage to open up to friends and family about what she was experiencing and went to the police seeking help," Truong said. "On the night of Feb. 7, she reported the situation, hoping it would keep her safe. Tragically, everything she feared came true: Her ex-boyfriend continued to stalk her, and her life was taken within 12 hours of the police report. She had to endure her final moments alone."
Ren turned himself in to police at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday and provided information that led to police finding Lu dead inside her vehicle in the township's Levittown section.
Truong said that Lu came to the United States with her father in 2009. Her mother and brother live separately in China, and she would visit them whenever she could. Her father had recently returned to China, leaving Lu without her immediate family nearby for months.
"No one ever expected that her life would be taken so soon," Truong said. "She was only 28 years old and had so many dreams and aspirations ahead of her."
Truong said she broke the news of Lu's death to her parents.
"No parent should ever have to learn of their child’s death this way," Truong said. "Yuan Yuan was a bright, kind, and bubbly person who brought joy to everyone around her. She rarely showed her pain and didn’t want to burden others, choosing to struggle silently until it was too late."
All funds raised will go toward supporting her family in China and covering funeral and related expenses. At this time, there is no confirmed date for her service, as the case is still under investigation by the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.
Ren was preliminarily arraigned and sent to Bucks County Prison with no bail, the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said.
