Bucks County DUI Task Force Plans Weekend Checkpoint
Not like you need a reminder but DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE.

A DUI checkpoint is scheduled this weekend in Bensalem, authorities with the Bucks County District Attorney's office announced. The checkpoint will be conducted by Bucks County’s DUI Task Force.
From 10 p.m. Friday through 3 a.m. Saturday, 15 officers from six municipal departments and the Pennsylvania State Police will be stopping vehicles along Bristol Pike and checking drivers for signs of impairment, the DA's office said.
Any driver appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be subjected to field sobriety tests and possible arrest.

A similar checkpoint on St. Patrick’s Day along Route 611 in Warrington Township resulted in 12 arrests.
In addition to the state police, officers participating in this weekend’s checkpoint are from the Bensalem Township, Newtown Borough, Newtown Township, Richland Township, Warrington Township and Warwick Township Police Departments.
