LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — Siblings Michelle and Steven Pellegrino joined forces, dovetailing her Girl Scout Silver Project and his Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project, to benefit A Woman’s Place and those whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence.

Michelle led a team of volunteers who sewed almost 200 bags which can be used to carry books and other items to permanent housing; they also made 32 book ends and collected over 1000 books for shelters in Bucks County and the surrounding areas. Steven and his volunteers built eight bookcases which were installed at three area shelters. Both projects were funded by the Piazza Neva Lodge of the Sons of Italy.
