'Bullseye' Target Mascot Stolen From Lower Bucks Co. Store
Middletown Township Police are seeking two women involved in what they say might be a prank at the Lincoln Highway store.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —It might have been a prank. But the Middletown Township Police Department certainly isn't laughing about it. And the joke might be on the two women who stole the statue of the Target mascot dog.
Middletown Township Police posted on Facebook Monday that "Bullseye," the Target mascot dog, was swiped from the Lincoln Highway store.
"Bullseye was stolen. These girls went full-blown Cruella," police said in the original post reporting the theft.

A follow-up post said "#BullseyeisBack!!" And the entire post drew more than 150 comments on Facebook.
But police issued this warning: "Just to clear it up for some on the thread —- theft isn’t funny. This could be a costly choice for someone and definitely not worth the notoriety."

Police said that Target just wanted "their puppy back" and that the case is closed and that the retailer won't be pursuing charges.
While police did not release details of the puppy's return, they are seeking the two women for information about the theft.
Police said there are two women, one wearing a Temple University sweatshirt who removed the large statue that sits in the "Dollar Spot." Another woman was leaving and laughing.
"Our primary actor, we will call “Temple”, was clearly having a grand old time. I mean, what a riot, right," the post reads. "Her buddy, we will call “National Champion”, can also barely contain her giggles over the whole ordeal. If you know Temple or the Champ, give us a shout. The “Dollar Spot” just isn’t the same without Bullseye," police said in the original post.
Police said there are "countless senior pranks” that are actually funny and are not crimes.
"Let us know if you need some good ideas," police said. "We've got lots of creative minds on here."
