A car crashed into a building in Bristol Borough on Friday morning, but luckily no one was injured.

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — A car crashed into a building in Bristol Borough on Friday morning, but luckily no one was injured.
It happened at 11 a.m. along the 1100 block of Beaver Street. The driver told police that while he was approaching a stop sign, his foot accidentally slipped and slammed on the gas pedal. He lost control and jumped the curb, hitting the building.
The driver refused medical treatment from Bucks County Rescue Squad and escaped the incident without serious injury, police said. However, the car sustained heavy front end damage. It was towed from the scene.

The building, a brick garage, was heavily damaged, police said. No one inside was hurt, though.
The Bristol Borough Fire Department along with Bristol Licensing and Inspection responded to evaluate the safety of the structure.
