Colorfun 5K Run/Walk and After Party

WHAT IS the ColorFun 5K Run/Walk?

ColorFun is a unique 3.1-mile (5K) fun run/walk that is focused less on speed, and more on crazy color fun with family and friends. After each kilometer, our volunteer “color bombers” will toss food-safe, environmentally friendly colored powder on runners and walkers as they pass through the “color zones.” By the time you reach the finish line, you’ll be wearing all the colors of the rainbow like a badge of honor! After the fun run, there will be a color throwing celebration. Color runners are all different ages, sizes, and speeds; so whether you’re a casual morning walker or an all-star athlete, you’re sure to enjoy this very special and colorful event.

TIME: 8:30 AM – 9:45: Check-in

10:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk Begins

11:00 AM — After Run: Color Fest Party and Family Fun Day

4:00 PM - Site Closes

RUN/WALK FEE: $25 Pre-Registration until March 15, 2015, $30 after March 15, 2015, $35 Day Of Registration.

Kids 5 and under - FREE

Your fee will help support Girl Scout World Travel.

LOCATION: Williamson Park, Delmorr Ave, Morrisville, PA

You will check in, start, finish, and party all at the same place, whew – that makes it easy! Located in the park across the street from the the cross streets of Delmorr Ave and Franklin Street in Morrisville PA, 19067.

FUN RUN/WALK DISTANCE: 5K (3.1 Miles)

You can run, walk, and (if you’re under the age of 10, and don’t mind your bike changing color) ride your bike the distance!

COLOR FEST & FAMILY FUN DAY: Finish Line, Williamson Park

After you finish the fun run, enjoy some post race food, drinks, and music. Don’t forget to toss your bag of color in the air in celebration! If you have family, friends, or let’s face it – fans, that didn’t run in the race, make sure that you invite them to join in on the fun during the after-party.

THE COLOR DUST: 100% Natural, Non-rash-inducing, Colored cornstarch. It’s like getting into a powdered sugar food fight. Color dust is safe to eat, but doesn’t taste very good so we discourage it. It will not permanently stain your body or hair, and after a few washes, will come out of fabric.

DRESS CODE:

What? There is a dress code? Yup, we want to make sure you enjoy the color as much as humanly possible, so we ask all participants to wear WHITE. White t-shirts, white shorts, white socks, white sweatbands. White. Whether you decide to only wear a white t-shirt or come decked out in a snowy-white assemblage (white tutu’s are encouraged), white needs to be on your person. All participants not wearing white will break our hearts (just a little, our hearts are pretty tough).
