Crash 'Blew Doors In' of Riverboat Inn In Croydon: Fire Chief
Croydon Fire Company Station 11 Chief Thomas Tryon said the two-vehicle crash injured a woman and caused some damage to the Riverboat Inn.

CROYDON, PA —A woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash that took place Sunday night in front of the Riverboat Inn, fire officials said.
"It blew the front doors in and caused damage to a wall," Croydon Fire Company Station 11 Fire Chief Thomas Tryon told Patch Monday. "It could have been a lot worse."
Firefighters responded to the scene of the two-vehicle accident at the corner of State Road and Second Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, the chief said.

He said about a dozen firefighters were on the scene.
Tryon said the accident was first reported as a motor vehicle crash with entrapment but when firefighters arrived that wasn't the case.

He said the driver of the truck was injured but refused medical attention. Meanwhile, the woman who was driving a white car suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital, the chief said.
He said firefighters were on the scene for about two hours.
