Croydon Woman Stole Running Car From Bank: Police

A 37-year-old Croydon​ woman has been charged after police said she stole a car that was running outside a bank.

WARRINGTON, PA —A 37-year-old Croydon woman has been charged after police said she stole a car from the Citizen's Bank in Warrington Township on Tuesday night.

The victim told police that he got out of his 2006 Hyundai Tuscon, which he left running and unlocked, and a woman got in and drove it away east on Rt. 132. The owner pursued her on foot until he was unable to continue.

The woman was identified as Patricia Ann Buck. When police arrived, they determined that another agency had just released Buck in the general area after she had committed a retail theft.

Police agencies bordering Warrington and on patrol along Rt. 132 were alerted to the theft and provided a description of the stolen vehicle. Police went to Buck's last known address, took her into custody, and recovered the stolen vehicle.

Buck was arraigned and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to make bail, which was set at 10 percent of $250,000.
