​Daniel Gurtovoy, 1999 Neshaminy Graduate, Dies at 35

Daniel J. Gurtovoy of Levittown, passed away Monday, July 25, 2016. He was 35. His parents Dan and Irene and his beloved dog Chloe were by his side.

He graduated from Neshaminy High School in 1999 and Temple University in 2004. He recently began volunteering at Welcoming the Stronger, teaching English to immigrants. He also just finished having his dog trained as a therapy dog, to travel to hospitals and nursing homes.

He was a wonderful son and loyal friend. It was his wish to have family and friends only gather at a memorial dinner at the Garden of Eatin Restaurant, 964 Woodbourne Road, Levittown, PA 19057 on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 6 to 9 pm.

In lieu of flowers, Dan requested donations be made in his memory to the PA SPCA at 350 Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA, where he rescued his wonderful dog from 11 years ago.The Gurtovoy family would like to thank the Holy Redeemer Hospice team for their care and support.
