Deer Alert Issued In Langhorne Borough

LANGHORNE, PA —Oh dear, it's the time of the year to watch out for deer.

Borough officials are urging residents and drivers to be on the watch for deer, who are out in full force this time of the year.

"As exciting as it can be to see a herd walking around the borough, we urge all residents and those passing through the borough to drive with caution," officials said.

Officials said one resident said their car was damaged in a deer-related incident.

"It is important to be especially careful at night when they can be difficult to spot, even with headlights," officials said. "They can come out into the road quite suddenly, leaving little time to react."

Officials said driving above the speed limit makes the risk of collision even higher.

"For your own safety, the safety of your neighbors, and the safety of the deer, please drive carefully," officials said.
