Driver Freed Following Crash By Croydon Fire Station: Fire Officials
The Croydon Fire Company volunteers removed a driver from a vehicle after an accident right outside the Street Road station Tuesday night.

CROYDON, PA —As four Croydon Fire Company volunteers worked in Station 11 on Street Road Tuesday night, they heard what they said sounded like a "loud crunching."
Fire officials said that the crunching shortly after 8 p.m. was a crash involving a vehicle that hit a parked vehicle. The volunteers rushed to the driver's aid and found him trapped inside the vehicle.
The deputy chief monitored the driver and reported the extrication to the Bucks County dispatch, other firefighters returned to the station and grabbed gear and equipment.

They began working to free the driver as other members arrived, fire officials said on the fire company's Facebook page.
Response from Union Fire Company - Station 37 and the Cornwells Fire Company lead to the extrication of the driver who was handed over to the Bucks County Rescue Squad.
