Driver Killed While On Way To Work At Falls Twp. Complex

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —A 26-year-old Philadelphia man was killed while on his way to work at the Fed-Ex warehouse on River Road on Wednesday night, police said.

The Falls Township Police Department said a single-car crash took place at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday on the Keystone Industrial Port Complex property.

Police said a gold Honda Accord traveling eastbound on South Pennsylvania Avenue had left the roadway in the area of River Road and Old Bordentown Road and rolled several times during which the driver was ejected, according to witnesses.

Lifesaving efforts were attempted on the driver, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver was on his way to work at the Fed-Ex warehouse located at 100 River Road.

Police said that drugs, alcohol, or a medical emergency are not believed to be factors in the crash.
