Drunk Man Crashes Into Pole, Porch In Bristol Borough Wreck: Cops
A drunk man crashed his car in Bristol Borough Tuesday morning, hitting a utility pole and a resident's porch, police said.

A drunk man crashed his car on Pond Street Tuesday morning, hitting a utility pole and a resident's porch, Bristol Borough Police said. The crash closed the portion of the street for several hours as repairs were made to the utility pole.
According to police, the crash happened around 7 a.m. along the 500 block of Pond Street.
Lee Earl Williams, 33, of Dallas, PA was arrested at the scene.

Authorities say Williams tried to leave the scene of the crash, which happened as he was traveling south on Pond Street. He hit a parked vehicle and careened into the northbound lane, hitting a utility pole. As he attempted to leave the scene, Williams crashed into a porch across the street from the first collision.
Williams was also found to be in possession of narcotics, which resulted in additional charges of possession with intent to deliver controlled substances and other related charges, authorities said.

A passenger in the vehicle, Douglas Akins, 30, of Bristol Township, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Bucks County EMS responded to the scene, but both occupants denied treatment, police said.
Pond Street was closed in the area of the crash until 2 p.m.
