Fairless Hills YMCA Celebrates 1-Year Merger Anniversary

FAIRLESS HILLS, PA —The YMCA Of Bucks and Hunterdon (NJ) Counties marks its one-year merger anniversary and the reopening of the Fairless Hills branch with celebrations at all its branches Friday.

The Fairless Hills branch, at 601 S. Oxford Valley Rd., also marks its one-year reopening following renovations, said Amanda Wappes, chief marketing officer of the YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties.

The branches will have family activities, swimming (where applicable), camp staff meets and greets, tours, and information on membership. Light refreshments will also be available. The YMCA is also offering a $1 fee to join in honor of the anniversary for the rest of this month.

The two merged last April to create one YMCA across the two counties, allowing members to use all seven member branches and member pricing on programs at all locations.

In Pennsylvania, YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties operates member branches in Doylestown, Fairless Hills, Newtown, Quakertown, and Warminster, with childcare centers in Morrisville, Morrisville, New Britain, New Hope, and Quakertown.

In New Jersey, the Y includes Round Valley Branch in Annandale, and Deer Path Branch in Flemington, with child care centers in Annandale and Milford.

Outdoor camp properties include Camp Carr in Clinton Township, NJ, and Holland Outdoor Center in Holland, Northampton Township.

With revenue of more than $25 million, the combined YMCA employs nearly 2,000 people, serves more than 70,000 members and provides more than $5 million in annual charitable community impact.
