Falls Twp. Man Arrested On Child Pornography Charges
It was the second time in two days that police in Falls Township announced an arrest on child pornography charges.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA — For the second day in a row, police in Falls Township have announced the arrest of a man on charges of possessing and uploading child pornography.
Timothy Scott Karl, 63, of Noblewood Lane, was arrested Wednesday, according to police. He faces multiple felony charges, including possessing and sharing images of child pornography.
According to police, Falls Township authorities received information from the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The task force, police said, had been informed by blogging site Tumblr that a subscriber uploaded multiple images of child porn to the site.

The images were uploaded between Aug. 28 and Sept. 3, 2018, police said, and all came from the same internet address, which police say is associated with Karl.
Police obtained a search warrant and seized several electronic devices belonging to Karl. They say he admitted he would look at child pornography on Tumblr and download child pornography to his phone, then delete it.

According to police, Karl last looked at child pornography on his phone a week or two ago and there were more than 100 "disturbing" images displaying children, many under the age of 12, engaged in sexual acts on the phone.
Judge Jan Vislosky set bail for Karl at $50,000 unsecured.
Karl's arrest came one day after police in Falls announced the arrest of Kenneth Richard Roberts III, 24, of Tanglewood Lane, on charges of possessing and uploading child pornography. According to police, Roberts also uploaded images of child porn to Tumblr and had illegal images on his phone.
