Fallsington Library To Hold Gala Fundraiser Saturday

FALLSINGTON, PA —The Fallsington Library will hold its annual fundraising with a gala on Saturday featuring a performance by the Fiddlehead String Quartet.

Locals know the Fallsington Library is the place to be for book-borrowing, craft-making, and educational STEM projects, but it's also the place for concerts and silent auction items, including Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers memorabilia, musical instruments, restaurant gift cards, tickets to Philadelphia sporting events, Bristol Riverside Theater tickets, and more.

On the evening of Sept. 23, the library is opening its doors for its September Concert Gala, which features a live performance on the newly curtained second-floor stage from the Fiddlehead String Quartet.

The fundraiser will also include light fare, more than a dozen silent auction items, games, and a chance to meet and mingle with fellow Fallsington Library supporters.

Event sponsors include Friends of Erin Mullen, Hiossen, Concord Public Finance, and Univest Financial.

About Fallsington Library

The Fallsington Library Company was founded in 1800 and incorporated in 1802. In 1879, the nonprofit organization moved into its Federalist-style building located at 139 Yardley Ave. The second floor served as a community hall, hosting concerts, plays, dances, meetings, and even gym classes for the Pennsbury School.

The Fallsington Library continues to proudly serve Fallsington and surrounding communities. A full-service lending library, Fallsington Library also presents interactive family programming and provides meeting space for the public in its historic building. The library’s affiliation with the Bucks County Free Library provides patrons full access to the entire BCFL catalog.
