Fallsington Library’s Fall Concert Fundraiser Nets $7K
The Fiddlehead String Quartet performed for the annual event in which the community bid on auction items.
FALLSINGTON, PA —The community turned out in style to hear live music from the Fiddlehead String Quartet, bid on auction items, enjoy refreshments, play games, and meet their friends and neighbors at Fallsington Library’s recent fall concert fundraiser.
In all, the library raised nearly $7,000 from ticket sales, auction items, musicians’ tips (which were donated to the library), and community sponsors.
About 70 people attended the annual event, which featured a return of the popular
quartet performing on the library’s second-floor stage.

“We love welcoming our patrons and new friends to see all that our library has to offer,”
Fallsington Library Executive Director Charlene Rendeiro said. “We’re grateful for the
community support from sponsors, both corporate and family, friends, and neighbors. We’re so
fortunate to have such a wonderful quartet play a concert for us, to help us keep the library
programs going. ”
Event sponsors included WM, Friends of Erin Mullen, ShopRite of Yardley, Clarke Gallagher Barbiero Amuso & Glassman Law, Parry Insurance, The Farmer’s Daughter Freshly Picked Vintage, Music Forte, RG Williams Plumbing and Heating, Edgewood Dental, Daniel and Leslie Rendeiro, and Berta Couture.

Funds will support Fallsington Library’s programming, which includes year-round fun, hands-on
STEAM programs, an immersive summer activity and reading program, yoga classes, and train
and craft clubs.
About Fallsington Library
The Fallsington Library Company was founded in 1800 and incorporated in 1802. In 1879, the
nonprofit organization moved into its Federalist-style building located at 139 Yardley Ave. The
second floor served as a community hall, hosting concerts, plays, dances, meetings, and even
gym classes for the Pennsbury School.
The Fallsington Library continues to proudly serve Fallsington and surrounding communities. A
full-service lending library, Fallsington Library also presents interactive family programming
and provides meeting space for the public in its historic building.
The library’s affiliation with the Bucks County Free Library provides patrons full access to the entire BCFL catalog.
