Fatal Drug Overdose In Penndel

A fatal drug overdose was reported late last month by police in Penndel.

The victim, who has not been identified, was found at a residence on S. Bellevue Avenue. Police were called there on April 25 for a report of a possible overdose.

When officers and the Penndel-Middletown EMS arrived, the victim was deceased on the floor and cold to the touch. Officers found drugs and paraphilia around the apartment, police said.

The coroner's office will be testing to determine the drug that caused the overdose.
