Fire Burns Kitchen At Bristol Home

The blaze happened at about 8 p.m. Saturday night.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — Firefighters on Saturday night responded to a fire at a home in Bristol Township.

The fire happened at around 8 p.m. at a home in the 1300 block of Minot Avenue. According to Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito, the residents were outside the home and heard their smoke alarms sounding.

According to Dippolito, the fire damage was limited to the home's kitchen. He said the cause was an issue with wiring that supplied an outlet in the kitchen.

There were no injuries reported. Fire companies on scene were Croydon, Third District, Newportville, Union and Corwells, as well as the Bucks County and Bensalem rescue squads.
