BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA — A home in Bristol Township was heavily damaged in a fire Friday afternoon, officials say.
Fire crews were dispatched at 1:15 p.m. to the fire on the 600 block of 6th Avenue in Bristol. According to Bristol Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito, the home's second floor was heavily damaged by fire and the first floor received water damage.
The call initially came from an alarm company, but a resident of the home called 911 a minute later, Dippolito said. He said there were no injuries reported and that the American Red Cross was called to provide assistance to the home's residents.
