Former Bristol Boro Mayor Joseph Saxton Appointed Mayor: Report

Former Bristol Borough Mayor Joseph Saxton is back in the mayor's office, according to a report from the Bucks County Courier Times.

The outlet reports the former mayor was unanimously appointed to the mayor's office by the borough council.

Saxton takes over for Patrick Sabatini, who the Times reports resigned due to his moving out of Bristol Borough.

According to the Times, Saxton was the borough mayor from 2002 to 2009 and served on the borough council for 14 years before that. The Times also reports Saxton also served on the Bristol Borough School Board.
