Free Narcan Training, Kit Distribution Event Planned In Levittown

There will be a free Narcan Training and Kit Distribution event on Monday, Sept. 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. in Levittown.

Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to an overdose, and will receive a free overdose kit.

Space is limited. Participants must RSVP to davewarriors73@gmail.com.

The event will be held at 1400 Veterans Highway, Levittown. It is sponsored by D.A.V.E. - Drug Addiction oVerdose Education Inc.

Narcan is a lifesaving nasal spray that can reverse the effects of some drug overdoses. It is the only FDA-approved naloxone nasal spray for the emergency treatment of overdoses related to opioids, fentanyl and heroin.

Narcan (naloxone) is also available without a prescription at all ACME Pharmacies in Pennsylvania.
