Girl, 14, Sexually Assaulted At Penndel Gas Station: Police

PENNDEL BOROUGH, PA —The Penndel Borough Police Department has charged a man with numerous sexual assault charges Saturday against a 14-year-old girl at a gas station where he was employed.

Penndel Police responded on Saturday to the Express Fuel located at 652 Bellevue Ave. after a 14-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted by a 22-year-old man who worked at the gas station.

Responding officers took Harsh Kumar into custody upon arrival.

Kumar was charged with involuntary deviant sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old, statutory sexual assault, sexual assault, indecent assault without consent, indecent assault of a person less than 16 years old, and corruption of minors.

Kumar was arraigned by a Magisterial District Judge. His bail was set at 10 percent of $250,000 and he was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility by Pennsylvania State Constables.

It is unclear if there are any other victims at this time, police said.
