Bedingfield is the first female artist to perform at Pennsbury’s famous prom. She has enjoyed
international success with her distinctive voice and empowering lyrics. Her debut album,
Unwritten, received critical acclaim and established her as a prominent figure in the pop
music scene.

“We are beyond excited to welcome Natasha Bedingfield to our prom this year,” said Reggie
Meadows, Principal of Pennsbury High School. “Her engaging stage presence and uplifting
music will surely add an extraordinary touch to the festivities. This event is not just a prom;
it’s a celebration of our students’ hard work and achievements, and having such a talented
artist join us makes it even more special.”

Heralded as the “Best Prom in America” by Reader’s Digest, Pennsbury’s prom is a testament
to the creativity and dedication of students, staff, parents, and community members.

While most high schools host their proms offsite, Pennsbury sets itself apart by transforming the
school with elaborate decorations. Prom preparations begin a year in advance.

The heavy lifting of decorating the school takes place just days before the event, with the prom
committee, staff, parents, and community members working well into the night to cover every
inch of the first floor with decorations that make it unrecognizable.

In 2019, the school shattered the Guinness World Record for the most lipstick kiss prints on a mural, a feat achieved with the collective effort of our community.

The 63-foot-long, 11-foot-high 3D mural, which used 41,692 kisses, spelled out "Rock Music" to fit the theme of "Prom to the Music."

The creation of the mural took a village, with students and community members creating kiss prints during sporting events, special school events, prom committee meetings, and in their homes.

This year's prom theme, "Enchanted Environments," is not just any theme.

It's a transformation that turns an everyday American high school into a mesmerizing environment, designed to captivate the imagination and create an unforgettable evening.

As guests depart from Pennsbury’s Enchanted Environments, they’ll be gifted with a reusable water tumbler courtesy of community partner Wegmans Food Markets in Yardley.

This gesture serves as a memorable keepsake from a magical evening and aligns perfectly with Pennsbury's Sustainability Management Plan.

The initiative underscores the school's dedication to reducing its carbon footprint and promoting environmentally friendly practices. By encouraging the use of reusable water bottles, Pennsbury High School, and Wegmans Food Markets highlight the importance of sustainability and community collaboration in fostering a greener future.

While the prom is a ticketed event for students only, the public is invited to view the school’s
jaw-dropping transformation at Pennsbury High School East, located at 705 Hood Boulevard in
Fairless Hills, on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by the Prom Arrival Parade at 5 p.m.
