Wednesday's excessive heat is forcing two Pennsbury middle schools to dismiss early.

Wednesday's excessive heat is forcing two Pennsbury middle schools to dismiss early.
Charles Boehm and Pennwood middle schools will dismiss at 11 a.m. today. Parents of students received the following message this morning:
Due to excessive heat, students at both of these schools will be dismissed early today at 11 a.m. Buses will transport students at this earlier time and follow their normal take-home routes. All afterschool student activities will be cancelled.
Parents who wish to pick up their children before dismissal time may do so if necessary, but they are required to enter the building to sign students out with proper ID, per the usual arrangement.
Parents who wish to pick up their children at or after dismissal time may use the front parking lot at Charles Boehm and boy’s gym parking lot at Pennwood. For safety reasons, we ask that you please do not use the bus dock parking lots at either school.
