Historic Fallsington Day Celebration Saturday

FALLSINGTON, PA —Historic Fallsington Day will celebrate the community on Saturday with numerous open houses, food, and fun.

"We are super excited to welcome you and yours to the historic village for Historic Fallsington Day," organizers said.

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Among the participants include:

• Falls Township Fire Company No. 1 Fire Prevention/Open House —10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Fallsington United Methodist Church will host its popular food stand and rummage sale.
• Fallsington Elementary School will have games for the kids and other fun treats for al.
• Fallsington Library will be open and hosting a rummage and book sale and it’s the opening day of its online auction.
• All Saints Episcopal Church will have some items for sale.
• Fallsington Friends Meeting will be open for tours.

Historic Fallsington will also work with the Danaher Lynch Family Foundation at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School to help collect new coats for distribution at Family Service Association of Bucks County now through Tuesday, Oct. 29. A box will be kept on the front porch at 4 Yardley Ave. to make it easy for people to donate during Fallsington Day and through the end of the month.

There will also be a drop-off site for non-perishable food items for the Falls Township Fire Marshal food drive. This is a year-round initiative for us to help those in the area dealing with food shortages. We will bring this box inside when we're closed so that the foodstuffs don't attract animals.
