Historic Fallsington Day Sticking With Saturday Schedule
Organizers said they will push through the forecast to hold the annual Falls Township event along Yardley Avenue Saturday.

FALLS TOWNSHIP, PA —While many outdoor festivals have been canceled or postponed for Saturday due to a forecast calling for heavy rain, Historic Fallsington Day organizers will not be deterred by the inclement weather.
The festival must go on, organizers said.
"We know that everyone is anxious for detailed information about plans for Historic Fallsington Day this year given potential weather forecasts," Historic Fallsington Day Inc. posted on Facebook Thursday. "The event is rain or shine and we are planning to move forward to the best of our ability."

The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
The organization is asking attendees to bring their rain gear if needed and visit along Yardley Avenue including the Fire House (Open House 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), churches, and library, down into Meetinghouse Square, and over to the Fallsington Friends Meeting.

"Our courageous and talented vendors are excited to show you their wares, the history interpreters are eager to share fun history facts, and the performers their amazing talents," organizers said.
Organizers said they are prepared for the rain too.
They'll have plenty of options for warm soup, and some of the history exhibits and entertainers may be relocated under a tent or moved inside one of the historic buildings.
The organization said more than 90 vendors are planning to join us this year, including local crafters, community partners, and businesses plus some amazing music, dance, and history acts.
Falls Township was Bucks County's first incorporated town, which was established in 1692.
