Hit-And-Run Victim Identified In Bristol Township Crash: Coroner

Cian J. McAuillife, 45, of Levittown died in the accident Friday night on Bristol Pike, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said.

BRISTOL TOWNSHIP, PA —The identity of a man killed in a hit-and-run on Route 13 Friday night has been revealed.

Cian J. McAuillife, 45, of Levittown died in the pedestrian crash at 9 a.m. Friday on 6900 Bristol Pike, Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said.

Buck said that McAuillife died of multiple injuries and that his death was accidental.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad.

She said next of kin had been notified and expressed her deepest condolences to the family.

According to LevittownNow, the vehicle was impounded and the suspected driver identified, but no charges had been filed as of this time.

Police said they recovered parts from a green Mini-Cooper at the scene. The vehicle was spotted on Edgely Road heading toward the Randall Avenue bridge.
